Meeting called to order at 11:00 AM
1. Review & Approve minutes of September 26 & November 1, 2007
Dennis Pavlicek moved to accept the minutes of September 26 and November 1, 2007 with changes as discussed and Gary Daniels seconded. Unanimous vote to accept.
Larry Ballin moved to accept the non-public minutes of November 1, 2007, William Scharff seconded. Unanimous vote to accept.
Further discussion ensued about the place that minutes are kept and noted that they are stored electronically.
2. Quarterly Recap: Norm Bernaiche
Norm Bernaiche reviewed the schedule and that it is a constant balancing process and staffing levels were the same. The lister & measurer were ready to go after town meeting as was affected by funding requirements.
3. 2008 Budget Review
Dennis Pavlicek explained the Newbury Cost of living and that the November COLA would change and affect a few of the numbers.
4. Next Meeting Date
Suggested next meeting date for April 1, 9am in New London.
Jessie Levine made a motion to go into nonpublic under 91A:3, II(a) dismissal, promotion or setting compensation for public employees. Dennis Pavlicek seconded. Roll Call vote, unanimous to go into nonpublic at 11:30 AM
Out of non-public at 11:35 AM Jessie Levine made a motion to seal the minutes and Dennis Pavlicek seconded. Roll Call Vote, unanimous
