Evro Hearing Minutes May 14, 2007
Present: William Weiler, Deane Geddes, Eric Unger, Frank Perrotta, Suzanne Levine, William Annable; Brian Hotz, Forest Society
Pillsbury-Sunapee Ridge Project (Evro). Chairman Weiler called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. The purpose of the meeting was to offer the public a chance to comment on the town’s decision to expend $200,000 of Conservation Fund money to support the Society for Protection of NH Forests’ effort to place a conservation easement on 845 acres on Mount Sunapee in Newbury.
At 7:49 p.m., no member of the public having appeared, Weiler closed the hearing.
Weiler asked for a motion to appropriate $200,000 from the Conservation Fund for the purpose of purchasing a conservation easement from North Woodlands LLC of Newport, owner of the 845 acres. Perrotta so moved, seconded Levine. Motion approved unanimously.
