Old Home Day
On the Saturday after the 4th of July, Newbury hosts it Old Home Day, the biggest event in our town.~ This is a day filled with many, many events, culminating with a fabulous dinner of chicken and roast pig.~ NBC pays for and co-ordinates all of the salads – potato, coleslaw and tossed salads.~ With our green NBC shirts on, we serve everyone a delicious meal.~ In the past we have had as many as 600 people. It is wonderful to see so many friends and neighbors turn out – many times with their extended families.
