Permits are Required for the Installation of Heating Equipment in Newbury

Now that it’s mid September, the cool fall weather cannot be far off. This is the time to start thinking about installing a wood stove in your home or upgrading your gas or oil furnace.

Please keep in mind that an inspection and permit is required from the fire department for the installation all wood, oil and gas heating equipment.

• Gas and wood heating equipment permit application
• Oil burner permit application 

The State of New Hampshire requires that the installation of all gas appliances be done by New Hampshire Licensed Gas Fitter. 

This is also the time to plan for the cleaning of chimneys and the annual service of your furnace
