How to Register to Vote

There are four ways to vote - Each requires proof of age, citizenship and domicile, by document or affidavit.
 

  1. You may register to vote at the Newbury Town Clerk's office up to ten days before any election.
     
    1. The Town Clerk's office is located at The Newbury Town Hall, 937 Route 103, Newbury NH 03255.
    2. The Town Clerks hours are: Monday: 1p.m. - 7p.m, Tuesday - Friday: 8a.m. - 4p.m, Closed 12:00 to 1:00 PM
       
  2. You may also register with the Newbury Supervisors of the Checklist. The hours of their meetings will be posted on the Newbury Town Website.

  3. You may also register to vote on the day of any election at the polling place (Newbury Town Office) Please be aware that this may take extra time.
     
  4. You may register absentee by mail. If you are unable to register in person because of physical disability, religious beliefs, military service or because of temporary absence. An absentee voter registration affidavit and standard voter registration form may be requested from and submitted to the Newbury Town Clerk.
