TREE APPLICATIONS IN PROTECTED SHORELAND

Ms. Holmes said she went out with Arborist Tyler Webb to walk several properties. There was one property they did not go to because the applicant did not have enough points to cut. They went to Bay Point Road, Edgemont Landing, Bowles Road and Lakewood Manor. Ms. Holmes said one house that had aging trees and another resident had aging poplar trees that need to come down. Mr. Magee discussed Joel DeStasio from Trout Unlimited. Mr. Magee asked the Commissioners if they would like Mr. DeStasio to present a future workshop. Mr. Magee thinks it would be best if Mr. DeStasio does not come to the Ausbon workshop, but perhaps comes in the future and presents another workshop down the road.

Ms. Holmes would like to have a speaker each month for the public. Mr. Magee thinks it would be better if the Commission partnered with another group and maybe more Towns would get involved.
