State requires registration of lake ice melting devices with the town clerk

Are you getting your dock or boathouse ready for the winter? 

Please keep in mind that if you plan to operate an ice melting device (Aquatherm) at your dock or boathouse, that the State of New Hampshire requires that it be registered with the local town clerk. 

Download the Aquatherm application (The registration fee payable to the town clerk is 50 cents)

The state also requires that Danger Thin Ice signs be posted that are visible in all directions where there is thin ice or open water from the aquatherm device.
