Board Members Present:  Darren Finneral, Chair; Chris Hernick, Vice-Chair; Jim Lord, Chris Millette, Denise Mitchell, Wayne Seaholm, Members

 

Mr. Finneral called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.

 

ADMINISTRATIVE:

 

Ms. Mitchell gave an update about meeting with Mr. Pavlicek regarding the photo of the front of the police station.

 

Minutes:

 

The Board reviewed the minutes of September 20, 2022. Corrections were made.

 

Mr. Millette made a motion to accept the minutes with proposed corrections.  Mr. Lord seconded the motion. All were in favor.

 

The Board reviewed the minutes of September 22, 2022. 

 

Mr. Millette made a motion to accept the minutes with proposed corrections.  Mr. Seaholm seconded the motion. All were in favor.

 

7:10 p.m. – Public Hearing – Request by EverSource, pursuant to RSA 231:158, to cut hazard trees on scenic roads: Cheney Road, Gillingham Drive and Old Province Road.

 

Mr. Finneral opened the hearing to the public. There being no public, Mr. Finneral said he will leave it open for 30 minutes.

 

The arborist for EverSource said they would like to take down identified trees (primarily ash trees) that are considered a hazard on Cheney Road, Gillingham Drive and Old Province Road.

 

Mr. Finneral read a letter from a resident in favor of cutting down the trees.

 

Mr. Finneral closed the public hearing after 30 minutes.

 

Mr. Lord made a motion to approve the application as complete. Mr. Seaholm seconded the motion. All were in favor.

 

Other:

 

Mr. Finneral reminded the Board that there will be a work Session on October 27, 2022, at 6:00 p.m.

 

Mr. Finneral said the grant was approved that he co-signed with the towns of New London, Sunapee, and Wilmot from InvestNHMunicipal Planning & Zoning Grant Program for a Community Housing Navigator.

 

Mr. Finneral read a notice of decision that the Zoning Board denied a rehearing of a case involving a tree house.

 

Mr. Lord made a motion to adjourn. Mr. Seaholm seconded the motion. All in favor.

The meeting adjourned at 7:44 p.m.
