1. Introductions
2. Discussion of committee name and charter. Is the focus town or individual energy use? (both). Reviewed energy statement p36 in town 10 year plan.
Lisa will rework language and send around for review.
 3. Town
a. Lisa has spoken to Eversource and to Dennis, town manager and has gathered
information from other towns
b. Eversource has a benchmarking tool online
c. Building inventory discussion
d. Request inventory of all the town meters with locations
e. It might be important to get on the list of 1 or more solar companies to plan for
options
Lisa and Tracy will speak to Dennis and request list of meters.
4. Collaborating with local groups
a. Begin with the end in mind; determine our long term goals
building energy audit
 5. Ideas
a. Environmental films, consider hosting with library
b. Composting, 40% of our waste is food, educational program, project at the
transfer station; per Joy town would be supportive of volunteers. Get together
ideas and let’s go over and see if there is a location
c. Compost at your own home, Deb to put together one pager
d. Transfer station, volunteers who look at appliances to assess whether can be
repaired
6. Communications:
a. December newsletter, awareness, potential projects, audit, welcoming new
members, website; get content in by 11/30 (​Susan to draft and circulate​)
b. Town Report comes out before town meeting; town elections
c. Padlet, ​Tracy will share link
d. Do it yourself weatherizing info,
for Community Education
  e. Deb will put together one pager on composting
