3. Reports:
a. Sunapee Duck Drop - debrief - Lisa, Deb
New England College students and faculty member really helpful and well prepared. If we wish NEC students to help with town meeting or other events, perhaps a survey re: diverting food waste or other topics, we should get them started soon. Add this as an item on our agenda for November meeting.
b. VW EV Charging station opportunity Mt. Sunapee/ town - Sue/Tracy, Joy
NH notification received; Joy connected with Tom Josephson (Upper Valley) to verify location requirements. Per Joy the town of Newbury likely does not meet the requirements including quality of cellular coverage, proximity to Interstates. We agreed to forward EV Charging Station Research Note completed by Hayden Sousa to Peter Disch (Mt Sunapee Resort) and Woody Blunt (Dartmouth Coach).
c. KCA - Bradford - aggregate solar, 7 towns, Revision Energy; WindowDresser program -- Moved to New Business

Norwich Solar did not submit a bid as project was not large enough.
Granite State did not submit a bid; Mary has placed a call to find out why not.
Bid received from Revision -- only for wastewater treatment location. No conversations yet; to be scheduled.
Next step: Solar Subcommittee will meet with Revision to review proposal. Then Subcommittee will put together a recommendation for Newbury Energy.
Motion(s)
Committee Organization and Goals -- Sue
We completed a Year in Review session for Newbury Energy on 10/13.
a. Organization:
Proposed: Sue to assist the Chair by managing meetings, agendas, Google drive information, minutes, etc.
Proposed: Tracy to assist the Chair with communication and liaison activities when Chair is not in Newbury
b. Goals:
An updated Goals document (with 2021 section intact, 2022 section updated) will be circulated to committee members. Request that all members review the document and be prepared to discuss at our November meeting.
6. News/Intelligence/Info – All
a. KCA - Bradford - aggregate solar, 7 towns, Revision Energy; WindowDresser program Lisa
Lisa provided Newbury Energy report at the KCA meeting; Bradford Energy also provided a report. Bradford will move forward with solar array on town land; power from it will be available to 7 nearby towns and Kearsarge School District.
WindowDresser workshop shows homeowners how to insulate windows; we could consider supporting this in 2022 along with other towns/KCA. Lisa will do more research to see if we want to participate and we will discuss further at a future meeting.
b. Diverting Food Waste; update on what Bradford does. Joy will provide contact info. to Deb.
